Long Island Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence
There are more than 300,000 Long Islanders who at this very minute, are struggling with the disease of alcoholism and other drug addictions. More than 170,000 children in Nassau and Suffolk Counties live with an actively addicted parent.
LICADD provides innovative evidence-based programs that directly help these families and individuals and prevent drug and alcohol abuse in our community. There are many ways that you can help LICADD save lives. Please consider making a charitable contribution, supporting our special events, and/or donating your time as a volunteer.
On behalf of everyone at LICADD, thank you for being part of the solution. Working together we can make a difference in the lives of Long Island’s children and families.
